Prison Break: Amin El Gamal Lands Recurring Role For FOX Revival


TV News - Prison Break - Amin El Gamal Lands Recurring Role for Fox Series EventDeadline reported that Amin El Gamal is the latest name to join the cast of the upcoming FOX series event of Prison Break.

 

Prison Break, which ran between 2005-2009, will be back focusing on a new adventure featuring brothers Michael and Lincoln, played by Wentworth Miller and Dominic Purcell (both currently killing it on Legends of Tomorrow) and this has been in development for a while (since August in fact) and has been greenlit for a nine-episode order.

 

The report also states that the new series will pick up after Michael’s supposed death, with Sara having moved on with her life raising their child with her new husband. When clues begin to surface that Michael may be alive, Sara teams up with Lincoln to engineer the series’ biggest escape ever.

 

Amin El Gamal (whose had guest roles on The Newsroom and Shameless) will be playing will join a cast that includes Wentworth Miller, Dominic Purcell, Mark FeuersteinAugustus Prew, Rick Yune, Steve Mouzakis and Sarah Wayne Callies.
