Deadline reports that Inbar Lavi, Marina Benedict and Kunal Sharma are the latest names to join the upcoming series event of Prison Break on FOX.
Prison Break, which ran between 2005-2009, will be back focusing on a new adventure featuring brothers Michael and Lincoln, played by Wentworth Miller and Dominic Purcell (both currently killing it on Legends of Tomorrow) and this has been in development for a while (since August in fact) and has been greenlit for a nine-episode order.
The new series will pick up after Michael’s supposed death, with Sara having moved on with her life raising their child with her new husband. When clues begin to surface that Michael may be alive, Sara teams up with Lincoln to engineer the series’ biggest escape ever, as three of Fox River State Penitentiary’s most notorious escapees, T-Bag (Knepper), C-Note (Dunbar) and Sucre, are pulled back into the action.
Inbar Lavi will be playing Sheba, a beautiful and smart operator/fixer/activist who becomes involved with Lincoln. Marina Benedict will be playing a character known as A&W, a crazed villainess who is unconcerned about her physical well-being but efficient in completing her deadly goals. Kunal Sharma will be playing Sid, who’s artsy, wired….and in prison. His offence, despite what his docket says, is solely for being gay.
The trio will be joining a cast that includes Wentworth Miller, Dominic Purcell, Mark Feuerstein, Augustus Prew, Rick Yune, Steve Mouzakis, Sarah Wayne Callies, Amin El Gamal, Amaury Nolasco, Robert Knepper and Rockmond Dunbar.
