Prison Break: Revival Series Trailer

TV News - Prison Break - Revival Series TrailerJust under an hour ago FOX released the first trailer for the upcoming event series of Prison Break.

The official synopsis for the event series is as follows:

After the events of the original series, clues surface to suggest that a previously thought-to-be-dead Michael Scofield may be alive. Lincoln Burrows and Sara, Michael’s wife until he was assumed dead, reunite to engineer the series’ biggest escape ever, as three of Fox River State Penitentiary’s most notorious escapees, Fernando Sucre, Theodore ‘T-Bag’ Bagwell and Benjamin Miles ‘C-Note’ Franklin are pulled back into action.

The trailer setups on what to expect from the revival series (cheese, brotherhood, a prison escape), though it does seem to give the feeling that the prison escape this time may occur much quicker than the previous….two (it was two right)? As much as I think the revival series was a bad idea….I’m still going to end up watching it anyway out of curiosity. Wentworth Miller and Dominic Purcell have been making names for themselves in recent years playing Captain Cold and Heatwave over in CW’s DC Universe on The Flash and Legends of Tomorrow, so maybe viewers from them shows can transfer over to make this FOX revival series a bigger hit than anticipated. The rest of the Prison Break cast outside of Miller and Purcell include original cast members Sarah Wayne CalliesAmaury NolascoRobert KnepperRockmond Dunbar and Paul Adelstein as well as newcomers Mark FeuersteinAugustus Prew, Rick Yune, Steve MouzakisAmin El GamalInbar Lavi, Marina Benedict and Kunal Sharma.

Prison Break is set to premier over in the US during the midseason break.
