The script for the pilot will be penned by Teen Wolf creator Jeff Davis, who will serve as an Executive Producer alongside Marty Adelstein, Becky Clements from Tomorrow Studios and Simon Oakes from Hammer Films. Let The Right One In was set in Blackeberg, Stockholm in Sweden and had us follow twelve year-old Oskar, a lonely outcast who is being bullied by classmates at school, who finds solace in with a charismatic young girl who appears to be near his age….but is actually a vampire. The story has been adapted for the big screen in the Swedish film of the same name and the american film version that was named Let Me In. The pilot will follow the premise, though this time the location will have us taken to Vermont.

Sarah Aubrey, EVP of original programming for TNT, said:

Let the Right One In combines elements of horror, revenge thriller and adolescent romance into an unforgettable and truly unsettling tale. This novel is a watershed of rich storytelling, making it an abundant source from which Jeff, Marty, Becky and Simon will bring to life in this all-new adaptation.

CEO of Tomorrow Studios, Marty Adelstein said:

TNT has amassed an incredible slate of programming and we are thrilled to extend our relationship with them.
