Papillon: Nina Senicar Joins Cast


film-news-papillon-nina-senicar-joins-cast-for-remakeDeadline reports that Nina Senicar has been cast alongside Rami Malek and Charlie Hunnam in the remake of 1973 film Papillon.

 

The synopsis for the 1973 original is as follows:

A man befriends a fellow criminal as the two of them begin serving their sentence on a dreadful prison island, which inspires the man to plot his escape.

 

The script has been penned by Prisoners writer Aaron Guzikowski, with Michael Noer directing. Danny Dimbort and Christian Mercuri from Red Granite International are serving as Executive Producers alongside Kevan Van Thompson, Yan-Fischer-Romanovsky, Joshua D. Mauer, Terrence Chang and Martin Hellstern.

 

No official cinematic release date as of yet.
