Speaking about the casting announcements today, show runner Joe Pokaski said:
It’s been important to us from day one that Marvel’s Cloak and Dagger is about character and emotion above all. We’re so excited to have assembled a murderer’s row of talented actors who can execute on that, and then some.
The report from THR also states that the series might not come out till winter 2018 as Pokaski rewrites his initial script for the Disney owned-cable network. Roth, Reuben, Mussenden and Saito join a cast that includes Olivia Holt, Aubrey Joseph, J.D Evermore and Carl Lundstedt.
