Deadline is reporting that Nathan Fillion, Tony Hale, Sara Rue, Lucy Punch and Roger Bart have signed up for roles in the second season of Netflix’s Lemony Snicket’s A Series Of Unfortunate Events.
Based on the bestselling series of books, the series recounts the tragic tale of the Baudelaire orphans – Violet, Klaus and Sunny – whose evil uncle Count Olaf will stop at nothing to get his hands on their inheritance.
While Executive producer/director on the series, Barry Sonnenfeld, announced the castings following the show’s panel at FYSee, their characters are being kept under wraps for now. Production for the second season is underway, though a premier date has yet to be announced.
The first season starred Neil Patrick Harris, Patrick Warburton, Malina Weissman, Louis Hynes, Presley Smith and K Todd Freeman.
