Legion: Saïd Taghmaoui Joins Cast For Season 2

Legion creator Noah Hawley announced at the FX drama series San Diego Comic Con panel that Saïd Taghmaoui will be joining the cast for the upcoming second season.

The first season introduced us to David Haller. Since he was a teenager, David has struggled with mental illness. Diagnosed as schizophrenic, David has been in and out of psychiatric hospitals for years. But after a strange encounter with a fellow patient, he’s confronted with the possibility that the voices he hears and the visions he sees might be real.

Noah Hawley at the panel said:

Theres going to be a lot of things that are going to happen that I can’t tell you. But what I can tell you is that Saïd Taghmaoui, who was recently on Wonder Woman, will be playing Amahl Farouk a.k.a. the Shadow King. We are going to meet the Shadow King.

The Shadow King character has been played by Quinton Boisclair and Aubrey Plaza in the first season and both these actors will appear as those iterations of the character in season 2. It was also revealed that the second season will be bigger and expand to ten episodes, compared to the eight episodes for season one.
