The Punisher: Josh Stewart, Floriana Lima And Giorgia Whigham Join Cast For Season 2

Deadline is exclusively reporting that Josh Stewart, Floriana Lima and Giorgia Whigham have signed up for series regular roles for the upcoming second season of Marvel series The Punisher.


The series focuses on Frank Castle, a former Marine who’s out to punish the criminals responsible for his family’s murder and finds himself ensnared in a military conspiracy.


Josh Stewart (whose recent credits include Shooter and Insidious: The Last Key) will be playing the role of John Pilgrim, a man whose calm exterior belies a ruthless interior. Despite having left behind a life of violence, circumstances will force him to use his old skills and bring him into Frank Castle’s world. Floriana Lima (whose recent credits include Lethal Weapon and Supergirl) will be playing the role of Krista Dumont, a smart, compassionate and driven psychotherapist for military veterans. Giorgia Whigham (whose recent credits include Chance, 13 Reasons Why and Scream: The TV Series) will be playing the role of Amy Bendix, a street-smart grifter with a mysterious past.


Head of Marvel Television and executive producer of The Punisher, Jeph Loeb, said:

The trio will be joining returning cast members Jon Bernthal, Ben BarnesAmber Rose Revah and Jason R. Moore.
