Netflix have released the official trailer for their upcoming addiction drama 6 Balloons.
The film is focused around the topical subject of the upper-middle-class heroin epidemic, where Katie discovers her brother Seth has relapsed on heroin while his two-year-old daughter is in his care. The film takes place over the course of one night as Katie drives her brother around Los Angeles in search of a detox center, with his two-year-old daughter in tow.
The trailer is very well put together and it definitely has me interested in checking out the film when it’s released on the streaming service. Marja-Lewis Ryan penned the script as well as direct the film, with Samantha Houseman and Ross Dinerstein serving as Producers under the Campfire banner alongside Free Association’s Channing Tatum, Reid Carolin and Peter Kiernan.
6 Balloons stars Abbi Jacobson, Dave Franco, Jane Kaczmarek and Tim Matheson and will be available on Netflix from the 6th April 2018.
