Gone Baby Gone: Christine Lahti To Star In Fox Drama Pilot

The Hollywood Reporter is reporting that Christine Lahti has been cast to star in the Fox drama pilot based on Dennis Lehane’s Gone Baby Gone.

The pilot focuses on detective Patrick Kenzie and Angela Gennaro who, armed with their wits, their street knowledge and an undeniable chemistry, right wrongs the law can’t in the working-class Boston borough of Dorchester.

Christine Lahti (whose credits include Hawaii Five-O and The Blacklist) will be playing the role of Antonia, Angie’s politician mother. She’ll be joining Joseph Morgan for the pilot. The project is a collaboration between 20th Century Fox TV and Miramax, the studio behind the 2007 film adaptation which saw the directorial debut from Ben Affleck.

The pilot is written by Black Sails co-creator Robert Levine, who will also be executive producing alongside Dennis Lehane, with the pilot being directed by Phillip Noyce.
