Deadline is reporting that Samira Wiley is the latest name to join the cast of Verdi Productions’ crime thriller Vault.
Inspired by true events, the film focuses on a group of small-time criminal in 1975, who attempt to pull off the biggest heist in American history, stealing more than $30m from the mafia in the smallest state in the union, Rhode Island.
The report doesn’t state what role Samira Wiley (whose credits include Orange is the New Black and The Handmaiden’s Tale) will have in the film. Tom DeNucci is attached to direct from a screenplay he co-wrote with B. Dolan.
