Deadline is exclusively reporting that Aaron Eckhart, Keean Johnson, Tadanobu Asano, Dennis Quaid and Nick Jonas are the latest names to join the cast of Roland Emmerich’s World War II action epic Midway.

The film, written by Wes Tooke, is about the iconic Battle of Midway, a turning point in the Pacific during World War II, following the soldiers and aviators who helped turn the tide of the war in June 1942.

The report also states that Luke Kleintank, Jun Kunimura and Etsushi Toyokawa will also be starring in the film. Roland Emmerich will be serving as producer on the project alongside Harald Kloser and eOne’s Mark Gordon, with Matt Jackson executive producing. Production on the project is set to commence sometime next month.

The new additions will be joining a cast that includes Woody Harrelson, Mandy Moore, Luke Evans, Patrick Wilson and Ed Skrein.
