The Hollywood Reporter is reporting the voice-cast ensemble that will appear in DC Universe animated series Harley Quinn, with Kaley Cuoco in particular playing the title role.
The animated series follows Harley as she breaks things off with the Joker and attempts to make it on her own as the criminal ‘Queenpin’ of Gotham City. The comedy will feature Poison Ivy and a cast of heroes and villains, old and new, from the DC Universe.
The rest of the voice cast will include Lake Bell, Alan Tudyk, Ron Funches, JB Smoove, Jason Alexander, Wanda Sykes, Giancarlo Esposito, Natalie Morales, Jim Rash, Diedrich Bader, Tony Hale and Chris Meloni. Details of who they will be playing remain under wraps at this time.
Harley Quinn hails from Powerless executive producers Justin Halpern and Patrick Schumacker and Dean Lorey via Warner Bros. Animation.
A release date for the Harley Quinn animated series is not yet revealed at this time.
