Marvel’s Runaways: Jan Luis Castellanos Joins Cast For Season 2

It was announced at the Marvel’s Runaway panel at New York Comic Con that Jan Luis Castellanos will be joining the cast for the upcoming second season.


Runaways focuses on six teenagers – Nico Minoru, Karolina Dean, Molly Hernandez, Chase Stein, Alex Wilder and Gertrude Yorkes – who can barely stand one another but one night they discover that their parents are secretly members of a supervillain group called The Pride. The second season sees the Runaways scavenging for food and search for shelter after leaving their homes and evil parents behind. As they realise that, for better or worse, they’re stuck with each other and it’s up to them to take down the Pride once and for all, someone sent a mysterious message to Jonah…is there a mole in the Runaways? As the Pride are focused on finding their children, Jonah has his own dangerous plan in mind.


Jan Luis Castellanos will be playing the role of Topher, a crafty runaway who schools our kids on new levels of street game. The consummate survivor, Topher knows how to read the room and win friends.


Speaking with, Castellanos said:

I’m super grateful to be joining the Marvel/Hulu/Runaways family. It has been a dream come true. Topher is a tough and complicated kid, and it was very exciting to bring him to life. I can’t wait for you all to meet him!


Runaways stars Rhenzy Feliz, Lyrica Okano, Virginia Gardner, Ariela Barer, Gregg Sulkin, Allegra Acosta, Annie Wersching, Ryan Sands, Angel Parker, Ever Carradine, James Marsters, Kevin Weisman, Brigid Brannah, James Yaegashi, Brittany Ishibashi, Kip Pardue and Julian McMahon.
