Variety is exclusively reporting that Brian Tyree Henry is in negotiations with MARCO to star in thriller They Cloned Tyrone.
The film is set to follow a series of eerie events that thrust an unlikely trio onto the trail of a nefarious government conspiracy in a pulpy mystery caper.
The report doesn’t state what role Brian Tyree Henry (whose credits include Widows and Spider-Man: Into The Spider-Verse) will be playing in the film.
Juel Taylor is attached to direct the project, which will be his directorial feature debut, and will be co-writing the script with Tony Rettenmaier. Taylor and Rettenmaier will also serve as producers on the project alongside Stephen ‘Dr.’ Love and MARCO’s Charles D. King and Kim Roth. MARCO’s Poppy Hanks and Mark R. Wright will serve as executive producers.
