Variety is exclusively reporting that Joel McHale and Kerry Bishe will topline Common Wall Media’s dark comedy thriller Happily.

The film focuses on a happily married couple whose life turns upside down after an unexpected visit from a mysterious stranger.

They will be joined by an ensemble that includes Stephen Root, Natalie Zea, Paul Scheer, Natalie Morales, Jon Daly, Kirby Howell-Baptiste, Shannon Woodward, Charlyne Yi, Breckin Meyer and Al Madrigal.

The film hails from screenwriter BenDavid Grabinski, with Common Wall Media financing the project. Indy Entertainment’s Nancy Leopardi and Ross Kohn serve as producers on the project alongside Electric Dynamite’s Jack Black and Spencer Berman. Chuckie Duff will serve as executive producer alongside Dave Green and Kyle Newman. The film was cast by Jenny Jue.
