Cobra Kai: Official Trailer For Season 2 Released Online

YouTube Premium have released the official trailer for the upcoming second season of drama series Cobra Kai.


The series is a sequel to that of The Karate Kid original, set thirty years after the evens of the 1984 All Valley Karate Tournament, where we find a down and out Johnny Lawrence who, seeking redemption, reopens the infamous Cobra Kai dojo. It reignites his rivalry with a new-successful Daniel LaRusso, who has been struggling to maintain balance in his life without the guidance of his mentor Mr. Miyagi. We will follow the journey of the duo addressing demons from their past and present frustrations…..through karate.


The official synopsis for the second season is as follows:

Season 2 brings fans back into the action with Daniel LaRusso and Johnny Lawrence after the shocking Season 1 cliffhanger featuring the return of John Kreese. When a new rivalry between opposing dojos is born in the aftermath of Cobra Kai’s controversial win at the All Valley Championships, Daniel realises his next countermove is to open his own karate training school called Miyagi-Do, in honour of his mentor Mr. Miyagi. What was once a personal feud between Daniel and Johnny escalates beyond their differences to engulf their students, who as teenagers, are already challenged to figure out who they are and who they want to be. Which path will they follow – Cobra Kai or Miyagi-Do?


The second season stars William Zabka, Ralph Macchio, Courtney Henggeler, Xolo Maridueña, Tanner Buchanan, Mary Mouser, Jacob Bertrand, Hannah Kepple, Griffin Santopietro, Vanessa Rubio, Martin KovePaul Walter Hauser and Peyton List.


The second season of Cobra Kai will become available on YouTube Premium from the 24th April 2019.
