Cobra Kai: Renewed For Third Season At YouTube

Media outlets are reporting that YouTube Premium have renewed comedy-drama series Cobra Kai for a third season.

The synopsis for the second season is as follows:

When a new rivalry between opposing dojos is born in the aftermath of Cobra Kai’s controversial win at the All Valley Championships, Daniel realises his next countermove is to open his own karate training school called Miyagi-Do, in honour of his mentor Mr. Miyagi. What was once a personal feud between Daniel and Johnny escalates beyond their differences to engulf their students, who as teenagers, are already challenged to figure out who they are and who they want to be. Which path will they follow – Cobra Kai or Miyagi-Do?

The second season has been critically raved and has been making big numbers for YouTube, with the first episode having over 23m views. Putting it into context, the first episode of the first season released last year has over 62m views.

I’m happy that Cobra Kai has been renewed as I find it to be one of the best current shows ‘on air’ at the minute. Also now we get to find out what happens next after that bloody cliffhanger!

The second season of Cobra Kai stars William Zabka, Ralph Macchio, Martin Kove, Courtney Henggeler, Xolo Maridueña, Tanner Buchanan, Mary Mouser, Jacob Bertrand, Hannah Kepple, Nichole Brown, Griffin Santopietro, Vanessa Rubio, Gianni Decenzo, Peyton List and Paul Walter Hauser.
