Deadline is reporting that Julissa Bermudez, Becky Ann Baker, Josh Mostel, Miles G. Jackson and Jonno Davies are the latest names to join the cast of Amazon’s upcoming drama series The Hunt.
Inspired by real-life events, The Hunt revolves around a group of Nazi hunters living in New York in 1977. The Hunters, as they’re known, have discovered that hundreds of high ranking Nazi officials are living among us and conspiring to create a Fourth Reich in the U.S. The eclectic team of Hunters will set out on a bloody quest to bring the Nazis to justice and thwart their new genocidal plans.
Julissa Bermudez (whose credits include Make It Happen and Danger One) will be playing the role of a nurse named Maria. Becky Ann Baker (whose credits include The Blacklist and Brockmire) will be playing the role Juanita Kreps, the Secretary of Commerce. Josh Mostel (whose credits include Blue Bloods and Mr. Robot) will be playing the role of Rabbi Stecker of New York City. Miles G. Jackson (whose credits include The Last O.G and In Reality) will be playing the role of Danny Rohr, a disgraced journalist. Jonno Davies (whose credits include Kingsman: The Secret Service and Blinded By The Light) will be playing the role of a bodyguard named Tobias.
The ten-episode drama is created and written by David Weil, while Jordan Peele’s Monkeypaw Productions are producing the project with Sonar Entertainment. Nikki Toscano will serve as showrunner and executive producer on the series.
The new additions join a cast that includes Logan Lerman, Al Pacino, Jerrika Hinton, Lena Olin, Tiffany Boone, Carol Kane, Saul Rubinek, Louis Ozawa Changchien, Greg Austin, Dylan Baker, Josh Radnor, Kate Mulvany, James Le Gros, Ebony Obsidian, Caleb Emery, Henry Hunter Hall and Jeannie Berlin.
