It was revealed at The Flash panel at San Diego Comic Con that Sendhil Ramamurthy will be joining the cast as the villain Bloodwork for the upcoming sixth season of the superhero drama series, whilst also releasing a trailer for the upcoming season.

Sendhil Ramamurthy (whose credits include Heroes, Heroes Reborn and New Amsterdam) will be playing the recurring role of Dr. Ramsey Rosso, a brilliant physician with a genius intellect, and the world’s leading expert on haematological oncology. A former colleague of Caitlin’s, Rosso ‘rekindles; their friendship after they are reunited by an unexpected event. Their longtime bond, though, is quickly shattered when the doctor’s desire to defy the laws of nature takes him down a dark path…one that transforms him from an old friend into the most chilling villain Team Flash has ever face…the monstrous Bloodwork.

The sixth season also stars Grant Gustin, Candice Patton, Danielle Panabaker, Carlos Valdes, Hartley Sawyer, Danielle Nicolet, Tom Cavanagh, Jesse L. Martin and Victoria Park.
