Moon Knight: Live-Action Marvel Series In Development At Disney+

At the D23 Expo, Marvel Studios President Kevin Feige was on stage to announce that a live-action series based on Moon Knight is in development for Disney+, bringing the character into the fold of the Marvel Cinematic Universe.

Introduced to Marvel comic fans back 1975, created by Doug Moench and Don Perlin, Moon Knight focuses on Marc Spector, a mercenary who’s left for dead in the Egyptian desert and saved by the moon god Khonshu. Even as Marc returns home and becomes a costumed crime-fighter, the series will explore whether he’s truly empowered by Khonshu or simply insane.

There was no further announcement in terms of casting or the creative team being brought in to develop the series, but there was a logo reveal for the upcoming Marvel series.
