Media outlets are reporting that drama series Wu-Tang: An American Saga has been renewed for a second season at Hulu.
Created and written by Wu-Tang Clan frontman The RZA and writer Alex Tse, the series is set in early 90’s New York at the height of the crack cocaine epidemic, the show tracks the Clan’s formation, a vision of Bobby Diggs aka The RZA, who strives to unite a dozen young, black men that are torn between music and crime but eventually rise to become the unlikeliest of American success stories. Chris Robinson is set to direct and co-executive produce the pilot episode.
The first season starred Ashton Sanders, Shameik Moore, Siddiq Saunderson, Marcus Callender, Zolee Griggs, Erika Alexander, Julian Elijah Martinez, Dave East, Vinnie Pastore, Anthony Chisholm, Armen Garo, Caleb Castille, Johnell Young, Ebony Obsidian and Andrea-Rachel Parker.
