Deadline is exclusively reporting that Carmel Laniado has signed up for a recurring role for the upcoming second season of Netflix fantasy series The Witcher.
The official synopsis for the series is as follows:
Geralt of Rivia, a solitary monster hunter, struggles to find his place in a world where people often prove more wicked than beasts. But when destiny hurtles him toward a powerful sorceress, and a young princess with a dangerous secret, the three must learn to navigate the increasingly volatile Continent together.
The report that Carmel Laniado (whose credits include Doolittle and A Christmas Carol) will be playing the role of Violet, a young girl whose playful and whimsical demeanour is a front for a smarter and more sadistic character. The report states that Laniado will appear in at least three episodes.
