It’s Always Sunny In Philadelphia: Renewed For Fifteenth Season At FX

Deadline is reporting that FX have renewed comedy series It’s Always Sunny In Philadelphia for a fifteenth season, making it the longest-running live-action comedy series of all time.


The series, which started in 2005, focuses on five narcissists with big egos and slightly arrogant attitudes are the proprietors of an Irish pub in Philadelphia.


The renewal comes after creator, star and executive producer, Rob McElhenney, revealed last month that writing was underway for season 15 and earlier in the year at the Television Critics Association panel, when promoting his new comedy series Mythic Quest: Raven’s Banquet for Apple TV+, he reassured fans of It’s Always Sunny that ‘we’re going to keep doing it forever if people keep watching.’


It’s Always Sunny In Philadelphia stars Charlie Day, Rob McElhenney, Glenn Howerton, Kaitlin Olson and Danny DeVito.
