The Order: Official Trailer For Second Season Of Netflix Series Released Online

Netflix have released the official trailer for the upcoming second season of fantasy drama series The Order.

The series focuses on High School graduate Jack Morton, who obtains a scholarship to Belgrave University, though he and his grandfather Peter have an ulterior motive for attending there. Once there, Jack learns that there happens to be a secret society based on the college grounds, The Hermetic Order of the Blue Rose, beginning to uncover a secret world of magic and learns of an underground battle between The Hermetic Order of the Blue Rose and a secret society of werewolves known as the Knights Of Saint Christopher.

The official synopsis for the second season is as follows:

The Knights struggle to regain their memories stolen from them by The Order… and they crave retribution. But vengeance is hard to plan when you’re also fighting murderous magicians, strange new cults, and life-threatening demons.

The Order’s first season was one that I felt disappointed in in regards to how it executed its storylines, but felt there was potential if they just stuck with one main over-arcing story and hopefully we get that here. I am worried for fans of the series however as, there has barely been any promotion for this second season until this trailer was released today…three days before it drops on Netflix. Usually that’s not a good sign in regards to renewal chances unless a lot of eyes are on the show in the first week or two.

The second season of The Order will become available on the streaming service from the 18th June 2020 and stars Jake Manley, Sarah Grey, Adam DiMarco, Devery Jacobs, Thomas Elms, Louriza Tronco and Katharine Isabelle.
