Sorry To Bother You director Boots Riley has revealed on twitter that he is developing a series titled I’m A Virgo, which will have Jharrel Jerome starring in the lead role as a 13-foot black man who lives in Oakland.
Boots Riley teased the project, along with artwork by Colin Laurel (@folklaurel_), stating that the series will be ‘dark, absurd, hilarious, and important’.

Riley is developing the series with Michael Ellenberg’s Media Res, with no network or streamer attached at the minute, but considering the critical acclaim of his directorial feature debut, and having Primetime Emmy winner Jharrel Jerome as the lead, I would expect the bidding war to be hot on this project.
