The Hollywood Reporter is reporting that Universal have pencilled in the untitled thriller from M. Night Shyamalan for a 23rd July 2021 cinematic release.
Plot details for M. Night Shyamalan’s next film is still being kept under wraps at this moment in time.
M. Night Shyamalan will be producing, writing and directing the untitled film, and any idea of when the project is getting a cinematic release date is unclear at the moment with the global coronavirus pandemic, though in the report it’s believed that it the project could start filming at the end of the year.
The film was originally being eyed for a February 2021 release, but Universal removed it from the schedule due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Meanwhile, M. Night had been teasing in that time that he’s been Skyping with his team during lockdown about the project.
The upcoming untitled thriller stars Eliza Scanlen, Thomasin McKenzie, Aaron Pierre, Alex Wolff, Vicky Krieps, Abbey Lee, Nikki Amuka-Bird and Ken Leung.
