Media outlets are reporting that comedy series The Kominsky Method has been renewed for a third and final season at Netflix.
The synopsis for the series is as follows:
The sun isn’t setting yet on the once famous Sandy Kominsky and his longtime agent Norman Newlander. Michael Douglas and Alan Arkin star as two friends tackling life’s inevitable curve balls as they navigate their later years in Los Angeles, a city that values youth and beauty.
The second season seen Kominsky dealing with health issues as well as his daughter’s new boyfriend, while Newlander gets together with an old flame.
Creator Chuck Lorre released a statement saying:
The Kominsky Method has been a true passion project for me and it’s been an incredible experience to see the warm response from both audiences and critics. I’m excited to wrap up the story with this final chapter.
It’s not yet been confirmed yet how many episodes the final season will have, and there’s been no official production start date yet for the series, pending on how they can film safely in terms of COVID-19 on-set.
The series stars Michael Douglas, Alan Arkin, Sarah Baker, Nancy Travis, Lisa Edelstein, Paul Reiser and Jane Seymour.
