Whilst releasing a teaser for the upcoming Halloween (2018) sequel Halloween Kills, Universal and Blumhouse have announced that they’re pushing back that and the followup Halloween Ends a year each, meaning now that Halloween Kills will be released on the 15th October 2021 and Halloween Ends on the 14th October 2022.
Creator John Carpenter and director David Gordon Green released a joint statement online which you can read below:
Halloween Kills was initially set for a cinematic release on the 16th October 2020. The film stars Jamie Lee Curtis, Donald Pleasence, James Jude Courtney, Nick Castle, Judy Greer, Andi Matichak, Anthony Michael Hall, Kyle Richards, Charles Cyphers, Nancy Stephens, Robert Longstreet, Dylan Arnold, Omar Dorsey, Jibrail Nantambu and Brian F. Durkin.
