Apple TV+ have released the official trailer for the upcoming comedy series Ted Lasso.

The official synopsis for the series is as follows:

Jason Sudeikis plays Ted Lasso, a small-time college football coach from Kansas hired to coach a professional soccer team in England, despite having no experience coaching soccer.

The sports comedy series is created by Bill Lawrence (Scrubs) and Jason Sudeikis, with the character of Ted Lasso originating from a series of short promos used to promote NBC Sports’ coverage of the Premier League in the U.S. The series also stars Stephen Manas, Colin Blyth, Brendan Hunt, Hannah Waddingham, Bronson Webb and Lampros Kalfuntzos.

Ted Lasso will premiere on the streaming service on the 14th August 2020.
