Orion Pictures have released the latest trailer for Bill And Ted Face The Music starring Keanu Reeves and Alex Winter.
The official synopsis for the film is as follows:
Following 1989’s Bill & Ted’s Excellent Adventure and 1991’s Bill & Ted’s Bogus Journey, the stakes are higher than ever for William “Bill” S. Preston Esq. and Theodore “Ted” Logan. Yet to fulfill their rock and roll destiny, the now middle-aged best friends set out on a new adventure, when a visitor from the future warns them that only their song can save life as we know it and bring harmony to the universe. Along the way, they will be helped by their families, old friends and a few music legends.
It’s also been reported by media outlets this morning that the film, originally scheduled for cinematic release on the 28th August 2020, will now be having a cinematic release on the 1st September as well as Video On Demand, as tweeted by Alex Winter. That’s for the U.S at least, it’s unclear as of yet whether it will appear On Demand in the UK/Ireland yet on that date. The film will be having a virtual panel at Comic-Con @ Home on Saturday.
The film is written by the franchise’s original creators Chris Matheson and Ed Solomon, with Dean Parisot directing and also stars Brigette Lundy-Paine, Samara Weaving, Scott Mescudi, William Sadler, Anthony Carrigan, Jillian Bell, Hal Landon Jr., Amy Stoch, Jayma Mays, Erinn Hayes, Beck Bennett, Holland Taylor and Kristen Schaal.
