The Right Stuff: Official Trailer For Drama Series Released Online

National Geographic have released the official trailer for the upcoming Disney+ drama series The Right Stuff.

The official synopsis for the series is as follows:

The Right Stuff takes a gritty, anti-nostalgic look at what would become America’s first reality show as the obsessive original Mercury Seven astronauts and their families become instant celebrities in a competition that will either kill them or make them immortal. The one-hour drama will follow the protagonists from the Mojave Desert to the edges of space, with future seasons carrying through to humankind’s greatest achievement: the moon landing.

The eight-episode series is based on Tom Wolfe’s 1979 novel of the same name, and marks Nat Geo’s first original scripted series for Disney+. Mark Lafferty serves as showrunner as well as executive producer alongside Leonardo DiCaprio, Will Staples, Jennifer Davisson, Lizzie Mickery and Howard Korder.

The series stars Jake McDorman, Michael Trotter, Patrick J. Adams, James Lafferty, Aaron Staton, Colin O’Donoghue, Micah Stock, Sacha Seberg, Jordan Woods-Robinson, Shannon Lucio, Rachel Burttram, Nora Zehetner, Jade Albany Pietrantonio, Laura Ault, Eloise Mumford, Chandler Head, Lucy Capri, Taegan Burns, Avery Burns, Kyra Johnson, David Bolinger, Victoria White, Christopher Cassarino, Josh Cooke, Patrick Fischler, Mamie Gummer, Eric Ladin, Jordan Blair Brown, Travis Herald, Jackson Pace, Kaley Ronayne, Danny Strong and Elizabeth D’Onofrio.

The Right Stuff will premiere on the streaming service on the 9th October 2020.
