Netflix have released the official trailer for the upcoming 2017 The Babysitter sequel titled The Babysitter: Killer Queen.
The official synopsis for the film is as follows:
Two years after defeating a satanic cult led by his babysitter Bee, Cole’s trying to forget his past and focus on surviving high school. But when old enemies unexpectedly return, Cole will once again have to outsmart the forces of evil.
The first film was a genuine surprise of a decent time as I wasn’t expecting much from it, but the horrific humour worked for me and Samara Weaving was good as the villain. Again though, like the trailer for the original, this trailer isn’t selling me on checking the film out, but hopefully it’s just as surprising…and hopefully that’s Samara Weaving appearing in the sequel that’s being hinted in the trailer.
The sequel is once again directed by McG and stars Judah Lewis, Emily Alyn Lind, Jenna Ortega, Robbie Amell, Hana Mae Lee, Bella Thorne, Andrew Bachelor, Leslie Bibb and Ken Marino.
The Babysitter: Killer Queen will become available on the streaming service on the 10th September 2020.
