He’s All That: Tanner Buchanan To Star Opposite Addison Rae For She’s All That Reimagining

Collider is exclusively reporting that Tanner Buchanan will star opposite Addison Rae in She’s All That, the reimagining of the 1999 teen comedy She’s All That.

The 1999 film (which was a modern adaptation of George Bernard Shaw’s Pygmalion and 1964 film My Fair Lady) focused on a popular high school jock who, after getting dumped by his girlfriend, attempts to transform one of the school’s nerdy outcasts into the next prom queen.

The reimagined plot will be from a teenage girl’s perspective, with this new version following an influencer (Addison Rae) who attempts to turn a nerdy boy into a prom king.

Mark Waters (Mean Girls and Freaky Firday) is attached to direct, with R. Lee Fleming, writer of the 1999 film, is writing the screenplay. Fleming will be reuniting with She’s All That producers Jennifer Gibgot and Andrew Panay, who also worked on the 1999 films development, and now will produce the upcoming version.
