Deadline is exclusively reporting that Micheàl Richardson, Keith Powers, James Badge Dale, Jordana Brewster, Paul Ben Victor and Ruby Modine have signed up to star in indie drama On Our Way alongside Sophie Lane Curtis, who will be making her directorial debut.

The film follows a deeply troubled filmmaker as he battles a voice inside his head while making his first film. When a muse in the form of an aspiring actress enters the picture, he’ll be forced to to face a tragic past he is desperate to escape from.

Micheàl Richardson (whose credits include Made In Italy and Big Dogs) will be playing the filmmaker while Sophie Lane Curtis (whose credits include Vox Lux and Magic Lantern) will be playing the aspiring actress. The report doesn’t reveal who the rest of the cast will be playing.

The film is being produced by Siena Oberman of Artemis Pictures, Adam G. Simon and Andrea Buck of Boxcar Pictures, Heliya Alam, Joe Barbagello, Julio Lopez Velasquez and John Reyes Doyle of Tomorrow Productions. Robert Bricker, Grafton Reyes Doyle, Courtney B. Turke, Jill Matlock Hall of Matlock Entertainment, Melissa Rossaki of BarBHouse Productions and Paola Paulin will serve as executive producers.

On Our Way is being scheduled to commence production this autumn in New York.
