Deadline is exclusively reporting that Adam Goldberg is the latest name to join the cast of CBS’ reboot series of The Equalizer.
The reimagining series focuses on Robyn McCall, an enigmatic woman with a mysterious background who uses her extensive skills to help those with nowhere else to turn.
Adam Goldberg (whose credits include the Taken tv series and God Friended Me) will be playing the role of Harry Keshegian. He’s not your stereotypical tech dude. Gruffly endearing, lovably annoying, eccentric and a collector of facts and artifacts, he’s paranoid…but for a reason. Unlike conspiracy theorists, because of his experience as a white-hat tracker, he actually knows what the real conspiracies are.
The series is executive produced by Dana Owens, John Davis, John Fox, Debra Martin Chase, Richard Lindheim (co-creator of the original Equalizer television series), Shakim Compere and Liz Friedlander.
Adam Goldberg joins a cast that includes Queen Latifah, Lorraine Toussaint, Tory Kittles, Liza Lapira, Laya DeLeon Hayes and Chris Noth.
