Universe’s Most Wanted: Entertainment Film Distribution Acquires UK And Ireland Rights For Sci-Fi Fantasy Film

Deadline is reporting that Entertainment Film Distribution have acquired the UK and Ireland rights from AGC international at the virtual American Film Market for the upcoming sci-fi fantasy film Universe’s Most Wanted starring Dave Bautista.


The film will focus on a small town which gets a big surprise when a spaceship carrying the universe’s most wanted and dangerous criminals crash lands in their backyard. Soon the sheriff’s son becomes a hero when he finds himself helping an intergalactic peacekeeper to keep the ragtag group of alien prisoners from escaping and taking over the world.


AGC International also sealed deals across several territories from Constantin Films (Germany, Austria and Switzerland), Metropolitan (France), Vertice Cine (Latin America, Spain, Italy and Portugal), Elevation Pictures (Canada), Volga Films (CIS and Baltics), The Searchers (Benelux), SPI International (Eastern Europe and Turkey), Joy N Cinema (South Korea), Long Shong International (Taiwan), MVP Entertainment (India), Empire Entertainment (South Africa), Sahamongkolfilm (Thailand), Panorama Entertainment (Hong Kong), Pioneer Films (Philippines), Selim Ramia & Co. (Middle East), United King (Israel) and Echo Lake Entertainment (Airlines).


Brad Peyton, who is directing the project, will be producing under his production company ASAP Entertainment alongside Jeff Fierson, as well as Dave Bautista under his production company Dream Bros Entertainment alongside Jonathan Meisner. The screenplay is written by F. Scott Frazier and Jimmy Loweree. AGC Studios and CAA Media Finance will be launching worldwide sales on the project in the coming weeks of the virtual American Film Market.
