Heels: Trey Tucker And Robby Ramos Join Cast For Wrestling Drama Series At Starz

Deadline is exclusively reporting that Trey Tucker and Robby Ramos are the latest names to join the cast of wresting drama series Heels at Starz.

Heels will be set in a close-knit Georgia community, focusing on a family-owned wrestling promotion as two brothers and rivals, Jack and Ace Spade, war over their late father’s legacy. In the ring, somebody must play the good guy, the face, and somebody must play their nemesis, the heel. But in the real world, those characters can be hard to live up to (and just as hard to leave behind).

The report states that Trey Tucker (whose credits include The Outpost and What Lies Below) will be playing the role of Bobby Pin, a pure-hearted Texan whose’s a rookie at pro wrestling but a veteran at being a nice guy. Robby Ramos (whose credits include The Blacklist and Snowfall) will be playing the role of Diego, a wrestler at DWL. In the ring, Diego wrestles as a heel, but in the locker room, he’s a wisecracking and always encouraging colleague and friend.

The eight-episode series is being written by Michael Waldron, with Mike O’Malley serving as showrunner with the pair serving also as executive producers alongside LBI Entertainment’s Julie Yorn, Chris Donnelly and Patrick Walmsley.

The duo join a cast that includes Stephen AmellAlexander LudwigAlison LuffKelli BerglundChris BauerAllen MaldonadoJames Harrison and Mary McCormack.
