Media outlets are reporting that Apple have renewed drama series For All Mankind for a third season.
The official synopsis for the series is as follows:
Told through the lives of NASA astronauts, engineers and their families, For All Mankind presents an aspirational world where NASA and the space program remained a priority and a focal point of our hopes and dreams.
The second season takes place in 1983, at the height of the Cold War, as the Soviet Union and United States battle it out for control over lunar resources on the moon. As tensions rise, the various characters see the militarisation of NASA impact their own lives, with the threat of a nuclear war looming.
The renewal comes a couple of months before the second season premieres on the streaming service, with a cast that includes Joel Kinnaman, Michael Dorman, Wrenn Schmidt, Sarah Jones, Shantel VanSanten, Jodi Balfour, Cynthy Wu, Coral Peña and Casey W. Johnson.
For All Mankind season two will premiere on the streaming service on the 19th February 2021.
