At the Disney Investors Day presentation of Marvel’s upcoming slate, the first look trailer for the upcoming Disney+ series, Loki, was revealed and released online.
The series follows the God of Mischief after stealing the Tesseract during the events of Avengers: Endgame. Loki uses it to travel through time and alter human history, but eventually he ends up trapped in his own crime thriller.
The series is written by Michael Waldron and directed by Kate Herron, with both serving as executive producers, and stars Tom Hiddleston, Owen Wilson, Gugu Mbatha-Raw, Sophia Di Martino, Sasha Lane, Wunmi Mosaku and Richard E. Grant.
Loki will premiere on the streaming service on May 2021.
