Deadline is exclusively reporting that Crystal Lee Brown, Cecil Blutcher, Carlos Gomez and Barbara Weetman have signed up join the cast for the upcoming second season of Starz drama series Hightown.
The series, set against the backdrop of the opioid epidemic in Cape Cod, follows Jackie Quiñones, a hard-partying National Marine Fisheries Service agent whose free-wheeling life is thrown into disarray when she discovers a body on the beach, leading her to take steps to becoming sober, while also becoming caught up in what turns out to be a murder investigation.
The second season takes place six weeks after the events of the season one finale. The tourists are gone, all of the characters are in a different place to where they started, with the weak becoming powerful, and the powerful becoming weak. But there’s a new terror on The Cape, and it may be its greatest White Whale yet.
