The Flight Attendant: Renewed For Second Season At HBO Max

Media outlets are reporting that HBO Max have renewed dark comedic thriller series The Flight Attendant for a second season.

The official synopsis for the series is as follows:

Flight attendant Cassandra Bowden wakes in her hotel room hungover from the night before in Dubai with a dead body lying next to her. Afraid to call the police, she continues her morning as if nothing happened, joining the other flight attendants and pilots traveling to the airport. In New York, she is met by FBI agents who question her about her recent layover in Dubai. Still unable to piece the night together, she wonders if she could be the killer.

Chief Content Officer at HBO and HBO Max, Casey Bloys, released a statement saying:

We are delighted that the show has resonated so strongly with audiences and critics. We congratulate Kaley, Steve, Greg and Sarah, along with the rest of the incredibly talented cast, executive producers and our partners at Warner Bros. Television on all the success of the first season. I look forward to seeing where Cassie will go next.

Executive producer and star Kaley Cuoco also released a statement saying:

To say that I am elated would be an understatement! The positive response to our show has surpassed all of our expectations and I’m so proud of the entire team behind its success. I’m thrilled to continue my partnership with Team Berlanti, Steve Yockey, HBO Max and of course my beloved studio, Warner Bros. I have amazing partners in Suzanne McCormack and Mackenzie Shade at Yes, Norman Prods., where we are committed to delivering diverse and quality entertainment, including an exciting (and probably a little crazy) TFA season 2!
