You: Scott Michael Foster Lands Recurring Role For Season 3

Deadline is exclusively reporting that Scott Michael Foster has signed up for a recurring role for the third season of Netflix thriller series You.


In the second season, Joe Goldberg moved from New York to Los Angeles to escape his past and start over with a new identity. Fresh out of an intense relationship that ended in murder, the last thing he expects is to meet an incredible new woman, but he’s falling in love again, with a woman named Love. Is history repeating? Or will this time be the real thing? Joe’s just crazy enough to risk finding out.


Scott Michael Foster (whose credits include Crazy Ex-Girlfriend and 5 Years Apart) will be recurring as Ryan, a local television reporter. A well-liked single dead who has overcome a history of addiction, Ryan has secrets, including a controlling, calculating demeanour that he reserves for those closet to him and anyone who gets in his way.


The television series is based on the novel by Caroline Kepnes, developed for television by Sera Gamble and Greg Berlanti.


Scott Michael Foster will join a cast that includes Penn Badgley, Victoria Pedretti, Adam Speedman, Travis Van Winkle, Shalita Grant, Dylan Arnold and Tati Gabrielle.
