Variety is exclusively reporting that Alison Araya and Lenny Jacobson are the latest names to join the cast of The Suicide Squad spinoff series Peacemaker at HBO Max.
Peacemaker, who will appear on the big screen/HBO Max in The Suicide Squad on 6th August 2021, is a man who believes in peace at any cost, no matter how many people he has to kill to get it.
The report doesn’t state what roles Alison Araya (whose credits include Riverdale and Arrow) and Lenny Jacobson (whose credits include Narcos: Mexico and For All Mankind) will be playing in the series, other than they will both have recurring roles.
James Gunn is writing the eight-episode series and directing most of it. James Gunn will also serve as executive producer alongside The Suicide Squad producer Peter Safran, and John Cena will serve as co-executive producer. Troll Court Entertainment and The Safran Company in association with Warner Bros. Television will produce.
The duo will join a cast that includes John Cena, Steve Agee, Danielle Brooks, Robert Patrick, Jennifer Holland, Chris Conrad, Chukwudi Iwuji, Lochlyn Munro, Annie Chang, Christopher Heyerdahl, Elizabeth Faith Ludlow, Rizwan Manji and Nhut Le.
