Deadline is reporting that Alex Meneses is the latest name to join the cast of the CW drama series Walker.
The series focuses on Cordell Walker, a widower and father of two with his own moral code, who returns home to Austin after being undercover for two years, only to discover there’s harder work to be done at home. He’ll attempt to reconnect with his children, navigate clashes with his family, and find unexpected common ground with his new partner – one of the first women in Texas Rangers’ history – while growing increasingly suspicious about the circumstances surrounding his wife’s death.
Alex Meneses (whose credits include Telenovela and Jane The Virgin) will be playing the recurring role of Adriana, a successful psychiatrist, published author and mother of Micki Ramirez, Cordell Walker’s new partner in the Texas Rangers. She is a strong personality who’s manipulative and very invasive when it comes to her daughter Micki’s life.
The series was renewed for a second season earlier this month.
Alex Meneses will join a cast that includes Jared Padalecki, Lindsey Morgan, Keegan Allen, Mitch Pileggi, Coby Bell, Jeff Pierre, Violet Brinson, Kale Culley, Molly Hagan, Genevieve Padalecki, Odette Annable, Chris Labadie, Alex Landi, Gabriela Flores and Rebekah Graf.
