Netflix have released the latest trailer for the upcoming anime series Pacific Rim: The Black.

The official synopsis for the series is as follows:

There was a time when Kaiju rose from the Pacific Rim only to encounter gigantic robots, Jaegers, built to fight them back. That time has passed. Now, Australia has been overrun by Kaiju, forcing the evacuation of an entire continent. Left behind, teenage siblings Taylor and Hayley embark on a desperate search for their missing parents, teaching themselves to pilot a battered, long-abandoned Jaeger to help in their quest and give them even the slightest hope of surviving.

The anime series is created by Craig Kyle and Greg Johnson, with Jae Hong Kim and Hiroyuki Hayashi directing the episodes, and a voice cast that includes Allie MacDonald, Jason Spisak, Calum Worthy, Gideon Adlon, Erica Lindbeck, Victoria Grace, Leonardo Nam, Andy McPhee and Martin Klebba. 

Pacific Rim: The Black will become available on the streaming service on the 4th March 2021.
