The Hollywood Reporter is exclusively reporting that Kiersey Clemons will be reprising the role of Iris West for the upcoming DC film The Flash at Warner Bros.
While the logline for the film hasn’t been officially revealed yet, but it is known that it will involve alternate dimensions and time travel with Barry Allen trying to save his mother from being murdered.
Kiersey Clemons had originally played the role in the Justice League film, but was cut from the cinematic release in 2017 when Snyder departed and was replaced by Joss Whedon. Her role was added back into Zack Snyder’s Justice League cut, coming soon to HBO Max.
The screenplay is written by Christina Hodson, with Andy Muschietti set to direct. Kiersey Clemons will join a cast that includes Ezra Miller, Michael Keaton, Ben Affleck, Billy Crudup and Sasha Calle.
The Flash is currently scheduled for cinematic release on the 3rd June 2022.
