Deadline is exclusively reporting that Chrissie Fit is the latest name to join the cast of Amazon’s series adaptation of I Know What You Did Last Summer.
Based on Lois Duncan’s 1973 novel, the series has the same premise as the 1997 film adaptation: In a town full of secrets, a group of teenagers are stalked by a mysterious killer a year after a fatal accident on their graduation night.
The report states that Chrissie Fit’s (whose credits include Pitch Perfect 3 and All My Life) role is being kept under wraps, though it is believed to be a recurring role.
The series is being written by Sara Goodman, who is also serving as executive producer alongside Shay Hatten, Original Film’s Neal Mortiz and Pavun Shetty, Erik Feig and Atomic Monster’s James Wan, Rob Hackett and Michael Clear. Craig Macneill will serve as director and executive producer for the pilot episode.
Chrissie Fit will join a cast that includes Madison Iseman, Brianne Tju, Ezekiel Goodman, Ashley Moore, Sebastian Amoruso, Fiona Rene, Cassie Beck, Brooke Bloom, Bill Heck, Sonya Balmores and Spencer Sutherland.
