Netflix have released the official trailer for the upcoming miniseries Halston, based on the life of fashion designer Roy Halston Frowick.
The official synopsis for the miniseries is as follows:
The limited series Halston follows the legendary fashion designer, as he leverages his single, invented name into a worldwide fashion empire that’s synonymous with luxury, sex, status and fame, literally defining the era he lives in, 1970’s and ‘80’s New York — until a hostile takeover forces him to battle for control of his most precious asset… the name Halston itself.
The miniseries is based on the novel Simply Halston by Steven Gaines, with the miniseries created by Sharr White, who also serves as executive producer alongside Ryan Murphy, Ewan McGregor and Daniel Minahan. The miniseries stars Ewan McGregor, Rory Culkin, Rebecca Davan, Sullivan Jones, David Pattu, Krysta Rodriguez, Gianfranco Rodriguez, Bill Pullman, Kelly Bishop, Vera Farmiga and Maxim Swinton.
Halston will become available on Netflix from the 14th May 2021.
